- Transfer 36 µl of blood from a fingertip into the Atolyzer cartridge via a transfer tube
- A blood filtration unit separates the red blood cells from the plasma
- The plasma incubates in the reaction location with
- antibody attached signal amplification reagent
- antibody coated magnetic microparticles
- A special designed mixing magnetic system mixes the antibodies and the plasma during the assay processing
- The magnetic system moves the assay to the washing location
- The washing solution removes all non-reactive signal amplification reagents
- The magnetic system moves the assay to the detection location
- The signal is detected at the detection location
