A universal point of care instrument
Atonomics has developed the Atolyzer - a small and handy point of care instrument used for disease detection, health monitoring and preventive diagnostics by clinicians, general practitioners, laboratories and other health care professionals.
With future applications, the Atolyzer platform will allow individuals to perform health checks in their own homes.
One drop of blood
The Atolyzer works as a one-step operation. The cartridge accepts a drop of blood from the fingertip applied directly to the cartridge. The test runs automatically and the result shows within 15 minutes.
Equivalent to central laboratory result
The Atolyzer offers the same analytical sensitivity and comparable performance as the large central laboratory instruments.
The Atolyzer is based on the same chemistry and assay principles as these central laboratory instruments, with the fluid circuits minaturized to be entirely contained within a disposable cartridge. New assays are easily intregrated with the Atolyzer technology at low risk. The result is reliable and thus readily accepted by the clinical establishment.
First diagnostic test in 2011Atonomics will introduce the first Atolyzer diagnostic test in collaboration with a partner in 2011.
